Time to make some changes in my life!! After working with many, many and so MANY types of technologies it was time to choose one clear path, that would made me feel the kind of passion and fulfillment that many bookwriters, TED Talkers, youtubers, "influencers" and mentors talk about. Trying to push myself a little bit more and dump all my 9+ years of work experience into it. It feels like a refreshing new start and I have been enjoying it so far. Let's start developing software with great passion, a cup of coffee and lo-fi music.
My biggest professional challenge, it took me out of my comfort zone after working years on my previous job, I had the opportunity to start, build and manage a new business unit by taking the leadership and building up the operations team (Up to 25 members). I also coordinated and supervised the solutions offered and deployed, with the aim of guaranteeing compliance of the technical requirements. during this time I gather valuable experience in more than 100 I.T. Projects. with budgets of up to 1 million USD.
For the first time during my professional career and after working for more than 4 years in the company, I was given the opportunity to be the leader of the engineering team (Up to 05 members). My main functions were constituted in the execution of projects, technical support, maintenance, to coordinate and supervise of every I.T. solution offered. I also continue to support, advise and train clients. This allowed me to get experience in more than a 100 I.T. projects for a total amount of more than 1,2 million USD.
Teaching is one of the most enjoyable things for me and it's something that I’m used to at work but this time it was different because it envolves under-graduated students. That was one of the main reasons why I decided to join the courses of “Computational Security” and “Routing Protocols” at the Department of Science and Engineering as a teaching assistant which main functions were to dictate the programmed practices and guide the students in the learning process during each lab sessions.
This was my first step into the real world, actually interacting with each client, partner and vendor with the purpose of quoting services and equipment; planning projects, implementing technologies of different vendors were my date-to-date basis. During this period I got the opportunity to implement and acquire experience in more than 50 I.T. projects.
My first engineering job was at this VoIP Service Provider. My functions were essentially to give technical support to corporate clients, monitor pro-actively the services provided to each client in order to detect, report and diagnose on-site or remotely any incident on the service. I learned valuable things related to work environment, service management and customer service.
This is the value I can offer you on every Project!
I always seek to improve
